Grievance Procedure

Effective July 20, 2026

Your right to be heard

If you are a job seeker, employer, or program participant and you have a complaint about our services, staff, or a decision that affects you — including any concern about discrimination — you have the right to file a grievance. We take all grievances seriously and will not retaliate against anyone for filing one in good faith.

How to file a grievance

  1. Contact us. Submit your grievance by phone, email, or in writing using the contact information below. Include your name, contact information, a description of the concern, and any dates or people involved.
  2. Acknowledgement. We will acknowledge your grievance, typically within a few business days of receiving it.
  3. Review. A staff member not involved in the concern will review the matter, gather relevant information, and may contact you for more detail.
  4. Resolution. We will provide a written response describing our findings and any resolution.
  5. Appeal / external options. If you are not satisfied, you may request further review, and you may also file directly with the relevant state or federal workforce or civil rights agency.

[If your grant/funding agreement specifies required timelines, an appeals process, or a designated agency and contact for external complaints, insert those specifics here.]
